Welcome to Plum Creek Community Church!
Whether you have just begun your search for faith, have recently moved to the area, or are looking for a place to connect, we want to help you on your journey.
We know there are a lot of great churches in the Plum Creek Valley working to positively impact the spiritual climate of this community. Not everyone will end up at our church, and that’s okay. Our goal is for every individual and family to get plugged into a local church where they can do the following:
• Grow in their walk with Christ
• Connect with others
• Use their God-given gifts
If you and your family are looking for a church home, we hope the following information will help you know more about our church’s mission: To impact our community and world through authentic relationships with God and each other.
Our greatest desire is to be the kind of church we see described in the Bible: a church with relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. Our goal is to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage our entire community one life at a time.
Our History
Plum Creek began with monthly preview services in August 2006, which then led to weekly services starting in January 2007. We have seen incremental growth since that time which has led to our current schedule.
We have 4 Sunday services meeting at the Castle Rock Cinema 12 at 9:15 and 10:30am (2 service time format/4 service venues with video experience).
The greatest message in the world deserves the chance to be heard in creative and compelling ways. It is not okay for church to be boring! You can expect our services to include an upbeat and contemporary style of music, multi-media, and a challenging message from God’s Word.
We will do our part to present the timeless truths of the Bible in fun and creative ways you will be able to apply during your week. Regardless of where you are in your spiritual journey, you will find we work hard to provide a comfortable environment for you to grow in your relationship with Christ.
Our weekend gathering typically includes:
• 20-25 minutes of contemporary worship music
• 10-15 minutes of a video or items of interest
• 25-30 minutes of a message from God’s Word
What should I wear to Plum Creek?
Clothes! We want you to be comfortable, so wear what you want. Casual clothes are the norm -you don’t have to be dressed up to come to Plum Creek.
Will I be singled out in any way as a guest?
At Plum Creek you will never be put on the spot, be embarrassed or feel forced to give money. A communication card is provided in the program to ask for more information about the church.
What does Plum Creek have for my kids?
On Sundays our children’s ministry provides an exciting experience for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and students through Jr. High. While you spend time getting the most from your experience at Plum Creek, your child will be learning about God in a safe, friendly, and kid-centered environment! We also have an active High School ministry meeting during the week.
