Missions
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. – Acts 1:8
We are called to impact our community and world through authentic relationships with God and each other. Our challenge is to consider God’s great co-mission. He has called us to be a part of the answer to the problems in our world. Our goal is that you would engage in mission for the Kingdom of God by doing three things:
GIVE
At least 10% of our general fund giving goes directly to three areas of missions work:
- Global and local ministries
- Global and local church planting
- Global and local help among the homeless and orphaned
We are supporting God’s Kingdom around the world through caring for former orphans in Kenya, reaching college students in SE Asia, educating future pastors in the Philippines, helping homeless youth in inner-city Denver, planting churches in America, and much more.
GO
We take teams across the globe to personally encourage our missionary family and the work they are doing. We want everyone who calls Plum Creek Community Church home and is physically able to go on at least one cross-cultural mission trip.
PRAY
We believe we can go around the world through prayer. We are faithful to petition the Lord on behalf of our missionary family. Consider joining with us in praying for our missions’ partners.
Missions’ Trips
Kenya Partnership
We are in partnership with Fountain of Life Church in Nairobi, Kenya. Regular trips are planned to continue to provide opportunity for relationship between our church and theirs.
